    Product Description: Standard and extra-wide coupling and bush

  • Flexseal Standard and extra-wide coupling and Bush are specifically designed to connect and repair pipelines of different materials or sizes used in sewerage, drainage and other underground applications.

    Standard and extra-wide couplings can be combined with Flexseal Bushes to act as an adaptor between pipelines of widely differing outside diameters.

    Where the difference between the ID of the coupling and the OD of the pipe to be joined is greater than 16mm, an appropriate adapter bush is required to facilitate leakproof jointing.

    Flexseal metal-banded couplings are supplied with Grade 316 stainless steel metal bands, shear rings, and fasteners. The sleeve and adapter bushes are manufactured from EPDM rubber.

    Size: DN100 - DN600 with standard width from 120 to 190mm DN 200 - DN 600 Extra-wide coupling with 300mm.

  • When to use a wider coupling?

    a) When a pipe has been badly cut and the end. isuneven or not square to the pipe axis.

    b) When an unusually large gap has to be bridged between the pipe ends.

    c) For use with larger pipes to bridge gaps created by deflection across the point.

  • FlexSeal Larger Diameter Type 2B Coupling (190mm width) with Grade 316 Stainless Steel clamp and shear band with EPDM rubber for connecting pipes of size 600mm OD up to and including 1000mm OD. Extra Wide Coupling of width 300mm is also available. Thickness of SS316 is 0.8mm. Large Diameter Couplings are made from EN681-1 EPDM rubber and have Grade 1.4401 (316) clamps and shear bands. Flexseal can also supply the product with nitrile sleeves for use with effluent which may be contaminated with hydrocarbons.

    Product Description: Rebated PVC Boring pipe for trenchless construction

  • Rebated Solid wall PVC-U Class 9 Boring pipe (DN 150mm & DN225mm) and Solid wall DWV PVC pipe (DN 300mm) suitable for Medium-Low Risk micro tunneling trenchless construction applications. NODIG PVC-U and DWV bore pipes are rebated at both ends – one socket and one spigot. The rebate size is 85mm. The total length of the pipe including rebates is 1085 mm and the length without rebates is 1000 mm.

  • The Rebated PVC boring pipe is specifically designed for installation using pilot tube Microtunneling machines supplied by No Dig Equipment. Refer to manufacturer for maximum load, temperature and compressive force parameters.

    Type P Solvent cement (green) shall be used for pressure pipe material in conjunction with priming fluid. Refer to Manufacturer for advice.

    Pipeline shall be installed in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
